This is big. The Berkeley Earth Surface Temperature Project was launched by skeptics and included funding from the Koch brothers in response to “Climategate.” That fiasco began with the hacking of the University of East Anglia climate researchers’ emails. Read more at the BBC.

Of interest is, from the graphs I’ve looked at, human induced COOLING was illustrated as well. Especially during WWII, when temperatures dropped. It would be interesting to see the ice core data for those years, looking for aerosols and particulates that would have been generated by both factories and the smoke and aerosols caused by war itself.
Interesting that they also agreed with the mainstream science, in that human contribution HAS been significant. 🙂LikeLike
